Red River Shit-out

I know that expectations are higher for this rivalry game than pretty much any game, and that they will not be able to deliver every year. However, that looked like two JV offenses going up against two NFL defenses, with the exception of two plays, one for each team.

After watching that I don't see either team having a chance at the BCS championship (I know Oklahoma was pretty much out anyway, but with a win today they would have had a chance). 580 yards of toal offense, just 269 for the winning Texas team led by now FORMER-Heisman candidate Colt McCoy.

Needless to say there is always next year, because neither of these teams have what it takes this year.

  1. Agreed, awful game, too much hype. Sad thing is until the BCS goes to a tournament, Texas will still have a shot at the championship.
